Antique Venetian Murano glass chandelier curled flat leaf C1890 blue clear

This beautiful Murano piece comes from the extensive Murano collection of M E Crick one of the original founders of Denton Antiques, King's Chandelier Services proudly purchased the collection in 2019, many pieces remained wrapped in Mrs Crick's original packaging showing pieces being removed during the second world war.

Although these pieces are rare these are being sold as the chandeliers are regretfully incomplete making restoration of the original chandelier unviable as having pieces made would be too costly and reduce the value of the chandelier immensely as it would no longer be an original antique piece as it would contain reproduction parts.

As an antique piece we would remind customers that there may be some minor age related nibbles on antique and vintage stock and this must be remembered when purchasing although most of our parts are damage free.  We detail any significant damage within the listing and include photos of these separately where appropriate.

Antique Venetian Murano glass large chandelier leaf C1890 clear and blue. 

This clear and blue Murano leaf has a ribbed stem running through the leaf. We have detailed the age of this chandelier as circa 1890 judging by the information that we were given and our own personal opinion although these could be earlier pieces.

Please note all these leaves are early hand blown and so these dimensions are approximate as they will not be identical even though they came from the same chandelier.

Width from one side of leaf to other side approx. 95mm or 3 3/4"

Height once held vertical approx. 160mm 

Depth or overhang approx. 160mm 

No Cup. This leaf has never been mounted on a chandelier, it was supplied as a spare

The leaf has one pin hole at the end

As with all of our antique stock we hold photographs in addition to those shown in our listings to assist with stock identification and should an item be returned to assist with the returns process allowing us to identify parts that originated from ourselves.  

Any parts returned that have not been purchased from ourselves would obviously be excluded from our returns policy as would any pieces returned damaged that do not match our listing details.
